History of the Mystic Creatures Festival

Mystic Creatures Festival 2026 is no ordinary festival; it was born from the cultural and creative pulse of the Berlin electronic music scene, conceived by restless minds as a safe space, free from judgement, and deeply connected to Mother Earth. What began as small parties and gatherings of creative spirits has evolved over the years into a loyal community of dreamers and lovers of fine sound.

Following three unforgettable editions on its emblematic island, the festival has taken firm root in the hearts of attendees. Think of it as a tree whose roots run deep into the forest, blossoming once a year. For this fourth island adventure, the organising team keeps the founding vision alive: promoting self-expression, diversity, respect, and ecological sustainability. At Beatheim, we share this very same core philosophy: dance music is a transformative language that builds community and awakens our authenticity.

When is the Mystic Creatures Festival 2026?

If you are looking for when to mark your calendar under the Mystic Creatures Festival banner, take good note of the official dates. The edition takes place from Thursday 3 to Monday 7 September 2026.

Access times are seamlessly organised to ensure both rest and enjoyment:

  • Campsite opening: It opens its doors on Thursday 3 September at 10:00 and will remain open until Tuesday 8 September at 12:00.
  • Festival grounds opening: Access to the stages opens on Thursday 3 September at 15:00, and the musical magic wraps up on Monday 7 September at 20:00.

Why is it held in early September? It is no coincidence. The organisers respect the life cycle of the campsite’s flora, where the grass is mown only once a year around this exact time to avoid harming local ecosystems. Four full days to switch off from the noise of the urban grind.
